Teachers: Cal & June Anderson Location: Cornerstone Cafe The "REAL"/"The End...What Happens Next?" Life Group will be covering two subjects. For "REAL," you will learn that sharing your story doesn't have to be difficult. It's one of the easiest things a believer can do! We will be learning what it means to be a witness by living a Real, Engaging, and Authentic Life-a life that transforms others with Christ's Love and expands His Kingdom. "The End...What Happens Next?" covers questions such as: How could a loving God send people to hell? Is hell a real place? Are there degrees of punishment in hell? Who goes to heaven? What will we be doing in heaven? What will we look like?
Teachers: Angie Kauffman Location: Life Group Room #1 Have a New Kid by Friday shows parents how to reverse negative behavior in their children--fast! With his signature wit and encouragement, Dr. Leman offers them hope and real, practical, doable strategies for regaining control and becoming the parents they always wanted to be.
Teachers: Paul & Lisa Shiflett Location: Life Group Room #2 In this series on the Gospel of Mark, author and speaker Francis Chan invites us to walk with him along the ancient ways of the Master. Tracing the steps of Jesus and the Twelve through Israel, Francis explores the major themes of the Gospel of Mark, and asks: Are we willing to take this journey to embrace discipleship?
Teachers: Don & Carol ten Bensel Location: Craig's Home After years of imprisonment and solitary confinement, enduring inhumane torture, Richard Wurmbrand emerges with a powerful testimony of courageous faith. Even today, believers are suffering and dying for Christ, yet their faith will not falter under the most unthinkable persecutions. In this stirring account, Wurmbrand (founder of The Voice of the Martyrs) encourages us to remember those in chains and equips us to help our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ around the world.
College Life Group
Teachers: Jay & Amanda Anderson, Darci King & Amanda Jimenez Location: Family Room The human heart was created with a great capacity to love. But along with that comes a great capacity to feel pain. There is no denying that those who love us, who are closest to us, can wound us the most profoundly. That kind of pain can be difficult, if not impossible, to overcome. And it can feel even more impossible to continue loving in the face of it. Yet that is exactly what we are called to do.
Youth Life Group Grades 6th-12th
Teachers: Chris & Maigan Yarber, Cameron Diem Location: Youth Room Being a Christian doesn't mean believing that a man named Jesus existed, it means trusting in who He is and building a faith that last. In "Fortlife" teens will learn how to build their own faith by looking at sermons from Jesus.
Bible Club PreK to 5th Grade Nursery for 3 and under available
Teacher: Stacy Brown Location: Club House Too many kids grow up thinking God is boring, angry, or distant. Each curriculum uses God’s word to help kids understand and connect with His true heart and character.
